Watkins & Eager is pleased to announce that Gabrielle C. Wells and Roderick R. Bridges, III have joined Watkins & Eager as associate attorneys. Rod practices in the firm’s real estate and commercial finance areas. Gabby practices in the firm’s employment law and general civil litigation practice areas.
Gabby received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in Paralegal Studies from the University of Mississippi in 2017. In 2022, she received her J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law. During law school, Gabby was a member of the Mississippi College Law Review, Black Law Student Association (President), and Women’s Student Bar Association (Vice-President). She is a member of the Magnolia Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Jackson Young Lawyers.
Rod received his B.A. from the University of Mississippi in 2016, focusing his studies on Public Policy Leadership, Arabic, and Mathematics. He has served in the Mississippi Army National Guard since 2014 and is currently a Captain (Staff Intelligence Officer). In June 2018, Rod was deployed to northern Syria in Operation Inherent Resolve, where he served until March 2019. In 2022, Rod received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During law school, he served on the Mississippi Law Journal, Alternative Dispute Resolution & Negotiation Board, UM School of Law Strategic Planning Commission, and Dean’s Leadership Council.
