Our firm was founded in 1895 by William Hamilton Watkins, who argued over 20 cases before the Supreme Court of the United States.  Pat H. Eager, Jr., a premier trial lawyer, joined Will Watkins in 1916, and later became Mississippi’s first invitee into the American College of Trial Lawyers and served as president of the International Association of Defense Counsel.

Since then, Watkins & Eager’s attorneys have built upon the rich legal heritage of the firm's founding members.  Our name has become synonymous with integrity, experience, dedication, responsiveness, critical thinking, and creativity. The firm possesses the skills to responsibly address its clients’ legal needs, and the dedication to doing so in a collaborative, efficient manner.

Watkins & Eager boasts a full-service, diversified law practice, and our attorneys are time-and-again recognized by national professional publications for excellence in the practice of law.
