Watkins & Eager is pleased to announce that Caroline K. Ivanov, W. Abram Orlansky and Michael C. Williams have joined the firm as Associates.

Caroline Ivanov, a native of Ogden, Utah, earned her Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude, in 2012 from the Mississippi College School of Law,where she served on the law review, was a member of the Moot Court Board and received the Mississippi Bar Foundation Award. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Linfield College where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Caroline will practice in the areas of health care law and tort & general litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Caroline served as a law clerk to the Honorable Leslie H. Southwick, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  

Abram Orlansky, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 2012 where he was a Dean's Scholar in Torts and Sports Law, and served on the boards of the Harvard Mississippi Delta Project and the Southern Legal Society. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and History with highest honors from the University of Texas. Prior to joining the firm, Abram served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rhesa H. Barksdale, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  Abram will practice primarily in the areas of class action, commercial litigation, medical malpractice and health care law and pharmaceutical and medical device litigation.

Michael Williams, a native of Tupelo, Mississippi, received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2013 where he was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal, Moot Court Board, and Dean's Leadership Council.  Michael was selected as the Member of the Year for the Trial Advocacy Board and served as Vice-President of the Black Law Student Association. He is a 2010 graduate of Mississippi State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Bio-Medical Engineering. Michael will practice in the areas of automotive, heavy equipment and recreational vehicles and tort & general litigation.
