The New York Office of Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) sought to recover an alleged overpayment of $691,221 from the ambulette company's Medicaid billings over a four-year period. H. Rusty Comley defended the ambulette company.   After a three-day hearing and post-hearing briefing, the New York Department of Health Administrative Law Judge denied OMIG's attempt to recover $690,784.50 and instead allowed a recoupment of only $436.50 from the ambulette company.  OMIG was also forced to repay the ambulette company the more than $40,000 it withheld from company's Medicaid billings over the previous 18 months.
