Watkins & Eager member Jimmy B. Wilkins was recently inducted as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). “It’s a great honor to be nominated and selected,” said Wilkins. Founded in 1958 by members of the plaintiff and defense bars, ABOTA consists of attorneys with substantial experience in jury trials. ABOTA’s primary mission is the preservation of the right to jury trial found in the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Wilkins was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1997.  His experience includes defending clients in cases involving general product liability, premises litigation, and personal injury litigation to tort and general litigation.  Prior to joining Watkins & Eager, Jimmy served as a law clerk for the Honorable William H.
