John's practice is devoted to litigation.  His experience spans a variety of practice areas, including healthcare, professional liability defense, commercial litigation, product liability, employment and labor law, pharmaceutical and medical device, appellate advocacy, and banking and financial institutions litigation.

Before joining Watkins & Eager, John served as a law clerk to the Honorable Daniel A. Manion, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the Honorable David C. Bramlette III, United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.  During law school, John was elected Editor-in-Chief of the Mississippi College Law Review.
