Corey Hinshaw named Mississippi’s 2010 Outstanding Young Lawyer

The Mississippi Bar Young Lawyers Division has named Corey D. Hinshaw of Watkins & Eager as the 2009-2010 recipient of the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award.  The award will be presented to Corey at the 74th Annual General Assembly on July 9th, 2010.

Corey, who serves on the YLD’s Board of Directors as Director of Hinds Post VI, President of Jackson Young Lawyers and Co-Chair of the YLD Public Service Committee, has chaired the YLD's Wills for Heroes program, which utilizes volunteers to provide free basic estate planning documents to America’s first responders.

Corey is a 2004 magna cum laude graduate of The University of Mississippi Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Mississippi Law Journal.  Corey joined Watkins & Eager in 2004, where he practices general commercial litigation.
