Christiana Hassin speaks to staff of SBA and Mississippi Small Business Development Center

Watkins & Eager attorney, Christiana Hassin, spoke to Mississippi Small Business Development Center (MSBDC) and Small Business Administration (SBA) staff on Thursday, June 17th at their statewide staff meeting. The conference, which was held at the Duncan M. Gray Conference Center, focused on strategic thinking and planning, professional development, and training for business counselors and staff for the MSBDC and SBA.

MSBDC, sponsored by the SBA, provides entrepreneurs with education and training opportunities which cover a wide range of business topics. Christiana spoke about various types of business entities and the factors that go into determining which entity is best suited for a particular business venture. She spoke specifically about liability, asset protection, and tax benefits of various business entities.

Christiana joined Watkins & Eager in 2006, where her practice primarily consists of Commercial Lending and Finance, Public Finance, Real Estate, and State of Mississippi Economic Development and Disaster Recovery Projects.
