Joseph Jason (“Jay”) Stroble was admitted to the Mississippi bar, the Supreme Court of Mississippi, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, all in 1997. Jay has a diverse, national litigation practice, including experience with class action litigation, product liability litigation, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, commercial litigation, and professional malpractice defense. His cases of note include In re: Genetically Modified Rice Litigation, (U.S. District Court, E. District of Missouri); In re: Bextra and Celebrex Marketing Sales Practices and Product Liability Litigation (U.S. District Court, N. District of California); and In re: Phenlypropanolamine Products Liability Litigation (U.S. District Court, W. District of Washington); In re: Prempro Products Liability Litigation (U.S. District Court, E. District of Arkansas).  His representative clients include Bayer Corporation, Pfizer Inc., Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, and GlaxoSmithKline.  Jay is involved in many civic and professional organizations.  In 2008 and 2009, Jay was listed as a Rising Star by the publication Mid-South Super Lawyers.  Prior to attending law school, Jay was a financial analyst for the investment bank Bowles, Hollowell, Conner and Company in Charlotte, North Carolina.
