John Howell was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2007 and the Tennessee Bar in 2011.  His areas of practice include commercial litigation, labor and employment, tort and general litigation, medical malpractice and healthcare litigation, and appellate advocacy.  During law school, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Mississippi College Law Review. Before joining Watkins & Eager, John served as a law clerk to the Honorable David C. Bramlette, III, United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi (2007-08), and the Honorable Daniel A. Manion, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit (2008-10).
