William F. Goodman, Jr., was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1951. He was also admitted to the Mississippi State Courts in the same year and to federal district courts and the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in 1953 and to the Supreme Court of the United States in 1970. His experience spans from appellate practice, banking, class action and complex litigation to business litigation. His cases of note include State v. Board of Levee Comm’rs, 932 So. 2d 12 (Miss. 2006); Sherwin-Williams Co. v. Holmes County, 343 F. 3d 383 (5th Cir. 2003); United States v. Fordice, 112 S. C. 2727 (1992). In addition to his numerous professional accolades and civic involvement, Bill served our country as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army (1951-1953).
