It is with heartfelt sympathy that Watkins & Eager announces the passing of Judge Charles Clark on Sunday, March 6, 2011. Judge Clark leaves behind a remarkable legacy both as a United States Circuit Judge and an attorney. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Charles Clark was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1948. He served as a United States Circuit Judge, Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit from 1969-1992, and as Chief Judge, Court of Appeals from 1981-1992. Currently, his work is dedicated to appellate advocacy. As Chairman of the Executive Committee, he presided over the Judicial Conference of the United States from 1989-1992.
