James A. Becker, Jr. (Jim) was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1958 and to all state and federal courts in Mississippi, including the Mississippi Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He has been an active litigating defense trial attorney for over fifty years in the fields of insurance litigation, products liability, medical malpractice, and many other areas of the law, including mediation and arbitration. His cases of note include Bridges v. Kitchings and Cook; Miss., 2002, 2001-CA-00188-CA; Abrams vs. Marlin Firearms Company; Miss., 2003, 2001-CA-01613-SCT; Wilburn vs. Stennet, Wilkinson & Ward, et al; Miss., 1997, 93-CA-00148-SCT. Jim is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and holds membership in a vast number of professional organizations.
